The latest release of the Ingram Micro Azure CSP module in Cloud Marketplace brings higher levels of billing detail, subscription management enhancements and automated resource deployment with preconfigured templates.

Azure RI - New Commerce Experience

  • Azure NCE Reserved Instances subscription
  • Standard upfront margin (different from Partner Earned Credit for pay-as-you-go consumption)
  • Customers can purchase RI within their Azure portal (if self service option enabled within market place) or via Business Operations request
  • Cancellation of RI subscription does not cancel RI SKUs purchased (RI SKU cancellation has to be done separately)
  • Invoices of RI purchased during previous Calendar Month Billing Period
  • Only valid for Azure New Commerce Experience subscriptions (Azure CSP Legacy Subscriptions NOT supported)

  1. Who can purchase Azure services?

    Azure is intended for use by businesses to build cloud scale applications and services. However, individuals (i.e. consumers) may also purchase Azure services.

  2. What is the Azure SLA agreement?

    Azure has separate SLA’s for all of services that are generally available and not in preview. Please refer to our SLA page for the latest details

  3. Does Azure support IPv6?

    Microsoft has played a leading role in helping customers to smoothly transition from IPv4 to IPv6 for the past several years. To date, Microsoft has built IPv6 support into many of its products and solutions like Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 R2. Microsoft is committed to expanding the worldwide capabilities of the Internet through IPv6 and enabling a variety of valuable and exciting scenarios, including peer-to-peer and mobile applications. The foundational work to enable IPv6 in the Azure environment is well underway. However, we are unable to share a date when IPv6 support will be generally available at this time.   4. Can notifications be sent to a different email address other than the Account Owner email address associated with my account?

    Yes. If you would like to specify a different email address to receive notifications, please follow these directions:

    1. Go to My Account in the top right corner of the Azure homepage
    2. Click on Usage and Billing
    3. Click on the Profile tab
    4. In the right corner under Communication preferences, click here to update your email address in which you would like to receive notifications.
